INSTALLATION OF OKAN GGCP-NWP 150KVA SUBSEA CABLE PROJECT

The following activities were carried out in the course of executing the project at OKAN GGCP AND NWP platform

• * Procurement of 12core 6mm fibre optic cable
• * Procurement of Fibre optic cable ST/SC connection
• * Procurement of 24 port fibre optic cable patch panel
• * Procurement of HV Termination kits * Procurement of control cables
• * Site survey for the Termination and hook-up of the sub-sea (150KVA CU and 12core 6mm fibre optic cable
• * Installation cable tray, from j-tube to the cable junction box.
• * Installation of cable tray from cable junction box to the step-up 480/4160V power transformer
• * Instalation of one cable junction box stanchion support.
• * Installation of 3/c no. 2 AWG cu Sn 5KV 133% ILEPR Insulated cable with 1x 6 AWG copper ground conductor
• * Hook-up of submarine 12core 6mm fibre optic cable to the junction box, inclding routing and fixing of the cables in the trays
• * Fibre splicing, Supply and installation of all cable ancillaries, fixing and support accessories, cable glands, ST connectors, 24 parts patch panels and termination kits.
• * Hook-up of Internal power cable from the junction box to the step up 480/ 4160V power transformer kits at both ends
• * Installation of 12core 6mm fibre optic box of cable junction box to the radio room / office as required by CNL.
• * Carrying out terminations, splicing, connection and hook internal fibre optic cable from the fibre optic box of cable junction box to the radio/ office as required by CNL
• * Connection of ground conductor of the submarine 5KV cable and of the internal power cable to the earthing and bonding system of the platform
• * Hook-up of 12core 6mm fibre optic cable from fibre optic box of cable junction box to the radio room/ office
• * Termination , splicing , connection and hook-up of internal fibre optic cable junction box to the radio office
• * Testing and commission of the entire Installation
